Many Heguru students, such as S, were able to get into difficult universities directly from public high school without going to cram schools, and by this we do not mean that they were in fast-track schools, where entry from school into university is as good as guaranteed. When S was in primary school, she did not like mathematics, but she was able to come out top in a mock examination of a famous cram school.
S attributed her successful entry into a difficult university as follows: “ My secret weapon was my ability to perform short-term concentration and immerse myself in self-study, something which I was taught at Heguru.” When she was in her sixth year in primary school, she appeared on television and was introduced to all Japan as a student who had graduated in Hado Reading. She had reached such a high level that she was even able to say exactly what was written on which number page.

* T In January, just before he took his junior high school entrance examination, he was able to finish answering seven Question Textbooks in just two days. He passed for both Shibuya Makuhari and Waseda junior high schools and finally got into the particularly difficult Tokyo University Department of Physics directly from high school.

At the age of 10 when he was in his fourth year at primary school, he was accepted into the Ichimankai and actively enjoyed taking part in right-brain development classes. Just by looking at a textbook, he was able to transfer the contents into his head. When he reached the autumn of his second year at high school, he started going to English cram school once a week, but he saw no point to studying other subjects there and declared that that would be a waste of his time, because he could get all that information out of reference books. Purely based on what he did at school, he could directly enter the Department of Physics at Tokyo University.

*N Even though she came from an ordinary family, she was able to fulfil the dream of children who yearn to play the piano and be accepted by the difficult-to-enter Music High School Attached to theTokyo Geijutsu University Department of Music (Piano Studies).

She started attending Heguru at the age of 1 and joined the Ichimankai classes when she was a first-year primary school student. She sometimes made mistakes when she was practising, but in an actual performance there would be no errors. In her second year at primary school, she was honoured with the top prize at the Kanagawa Prefecture piano contest. She said that she could reach a completely new level by using her right brain, in which the quality of the sound she was expressing would rise above the normal. Due to Heguru education parallel high-speed processing skills which she fully exploited, not only was she able to study piano, but she could also keep up with her school lessons at the same time, thoroughly demonstrating the positive effects derived from the right brain.

All of the Heguru graduates introduced above, whether their field happened to be a scholastic one or related to sports and arts, were able to pursue their studies in an environment created by their parents’ deep affection and love as well as their understanding of the necessity to develop the right brain and their ungrudging co-operation in search of a common goal. This point is probably the most important one when it comes to obtaining beneficial results from Heguru education.
