My child does not like books. What can I do?

The simple solution to this is to read picture books out loud to him. That would be the first step. Go to the bookstore or the library and get him a book related to something he is the most interested in. Even if you feel the book is a bit too difficult, get it if the child is strongly interested, and this is especially recommended if it contains a lot of pictures.
